Project Inspiration
For my appropriation project, I will be using a Van Gogh painting (Cafe Terrace at Night) as an inspiration. My idea is creating a small version of the scene in the painting and allowing the viewers to feel like they are in the painting themselves. It will also give off a sense of fiction and fantasy in a way that the viewers will feel like they've been transported to that place on earth. My final project will most likely consist of a big painting and a few props.

Do you mean to create a large version of this specific painting with props? Why do you choose this cafe to recreate in a gallery in Vancouver? Can you think of the context, background?
